This Go Fund Me Page if to raise money to help buy Jessi a Wig; Not just any wig, this wig will change her life & make her feel more comfortable. She will be able to wear this wig more permanently and even swim in it. The wig process starts with a 3D medical scan to use as a digital blueprint for a custom prosthesis. The company is based in Sydney and it takes 4months for the completion and delivery of her Wig.

Jessi is such a brave, strong, inspirational girl who was just 5 when she lost her hair to Alopecia Areata, a condition that can sometimes be treated but never cured. Alopecia occurs when the immune system attacks hair follicles and it can be bought on by severe stress.Her family has been told that the head injury she suffered at school on the Monkey Bars 6months prior to her first bald patch appearing may have been a contributing factor to her hair loss. 3years ago Jessi was also diagnosed with Type 1 Diabetes and has to monitor her insulin levels regularly. Jessi has been through so much, It would be fantastic to give this Incredible 10yr old the chance to feel amazing and comfortable.

This is an expensive process and with Jessi almost in high school it would mean the world to her and her family to receive this support and be able to focus on keeping Jessi Healthy
