Wife Very Ill. PTSD and Overwhelmed

A series of unfortunate circumstances... For the last couple of years I have been really struggling with diagnosed combat PTSD stemming from 2007 and 2011 boots on ground deployments to Iraq and Afghanistan. I was diagnosed in 2013 but was "red flagged"by the Navy in December of 2014 just 3 days before a scheduled 3rd deployment aboard a U.S. warship This was devostating... but this is where the fun REALLY began. Just before the scheduled 7 month deployment, my wife and I decided to move her and my three young children from our permanent duty station Mayport, FL to Indiana where we owned a home and where both sides of our families were located so that she had support while I was gone. My wife had severe health issues such as COPD, chrone s disease and alpha 1 deficiency to name a few and had countless hospitalizations and surgeries. A few of the surgeries were (3) ovarian, historectomy, and gull bladder removal. Doesn't sound like to big a deal but imagine being out to sea or boots on ground with your wife consistently being hospitalized and operated on in a town were you have little or no support and you have no one to assist or to help out with my children while the wife was down. I was medivacted several times to help them. So just before my scheduled deployment I had a major PTSD episode and was hospitalized for several days which placed me in a limited duty status which was designed to provide me with some intensive treatment for roughly six months and return me back to duty. Well, here I sit in a hospital in Indianapolis next to my wife's hospital bed some 2 years and three months later awaiting her biggest and most risky surgery of all. The supposed six months of limited duty has extended over two years of separation from my family, over 10 hospitalizations myself and have just been found unfit for duty and will be medically retired in the next couple of months. So why start a GoFundMe page? Well as stated earlier I am literally lying in a chair next to my 89 pound wife in her hospital bed at 4 in the morning praying that her recently installed feeding tube maintains and provides her with the much needed nutrients to get her healthy enough to undergo SMA syndrome surgery. SMA syndrome is ultra rare and is life threatening. To keep it short and simple, her main artery in her stomach is wrapped around her intestines causing 90 percent blockage to both. This will be, if all goes well, a very complicated 2-3 months of recovery and therapy and I feel to top everything off we are about to be financially destroyed. In the past 7 or so months my wife has had (2) 3 week stints at Mayo Clinic where I was responsible for hotels and transportation, flights and rental cars. Child care back in Indiana because remember I am STILL stationed in Florida by myself. We have had two major vehicle repairs totaling over $3600 as well and our most interesting recent mishaps being a lightning strike/surge to our home which fried all of our appliances, central AC and water heater, and a crazy woman doing donuts through one side of our privacy fence, destroying our backyard then demolishing the other half of our fence to depart our property. Good thing they caught her but sucks that she doesn't have insurance... Oh and now I am being reminded again about that $1000 deductible...Lol. Anyways, I am now stuck between a rock and a hardplace. The bills are stacking. I am 1 1/2 months behind on mortgage and two months behind on car payments. Credit cards are deliquent and almost maxed and am getting daily emails from credit Karma notifying me of the daily changes of my credit score. I have to report back to Florida in five days and leave my family. My wife will remain in the hospital and we hope that she is healthy enough for the surgery on her stomach in the next week or two. I am hoping that my Retirement paperwork will finalize so that I can return home and take care of her but will not hold my breath on that one so it looks like there will be a couple more trips back to Indiana shortly. I am the last person on earth that would ask for any assistance with anything. Throughout my life I always seemed to find a way to conquer whatever situation was thrown at me but I must admit that these curve balls have me all but over. 3 balls 2 strikes and 2 outs at the bottom of the ninth inning . So, I figured that I would give this a shot. I'm hoping to raise just one Months mortgage payment. With some tight budgeting I will at least not lose our home. Mortgage Is $1025. Anything will help and god bless,. By the way I really am not too familiar with this sight and literally just rolled over and started this but if there is any donors or personal that would want to see proof of any claims throughout this statement I have documentation and receipts for EVERYRHING and would love to provide. Have a blessed day.
