Hi, my name is Bree and I am fundraising for Shana Preston. She is the most selfless and caring woman. She never complains or asks for help. Even though she has endured many hardships she is never upset or negative. Shana is a ray of sunshine and thoughtfulness who is always looking for ways to help others. Her husband, Alton, was the victim of a brain damaging incident that left him in a coma in 2018. He then made steps toward recovery, brain function, and breathing on his own. Alton is currently in vegetative state and in need of transportation. The transportation companies are unfortately unreliable and caused him to miss numerous appointments. His wife and children spend their days talking to him and encouraging him but he also needs to be seen by his doctors and physical therapists to increase his progress. I have created this gofundme to help offset the cost of a wheelchair accesible van. Shana desperately wants to spend more time outside with her husband and ensuring he is able to reach all his doctors appointments and encourage his recovery.
