Wife & Mother Hit by Car Left Partially Paralyzed

Hello, my name is Seth and I am making this on behalf of my wife Chelsea. On Saturday night, March 11th, she was checking the mail shortly after returning from our family vacation. A big gust of wind blew some of the mail out of her hand into the street, so she went out and leaned over to pick it up when she was struck by a car going about 30 mph. She rolled on the side of the car and got thrown to the pavement face first. She was knocked out and came to a few minutes later and was rushed to the hospital ER via ambulance.

After being wrongfully discharged by that hospital just 4 hours later, she had a seizure the next day after passing out and falling out of bed. She was rushed to a different hospital ER by ambulance where she’s been since. She was diagnosed with a concussion as well.

We just found out today the devastating news that Chels is partially paralyzed and will have to relearn how to walk at 28 years old. They are trying to figure out if she will need surgery or rehab in the recovery process.

Chelsea is a mother of 5 kids and works to help provide for them. With this news, she needs to focus on rehab and whatever money raised will go towards ensuring that she can take all of the time she needs to heal before returning to work. It will also help me with not having to immediately find a second job because I need to be there for her to assist her with everything that we are about to go through.
