Wife and Husband Duo battling Cancer

Hello Family, Friends and Supporters,

My name is Stefanie Williamson. I am writing to you on behalf of my sister Vanessa and my brother-in-law Vincent.

As we all know a cancer diagnosis is life changing for any family, but when both spouses are diagnosed within months, it is especially challenging and frightening.

Late last year my brother in law Vince was diagnosed with kidney cancer. In January his kidney was removed and was told he was “clear”, however a month later he was rediagnosed again with recurring kidney cancer. He is undergoing treatment every 6 weeks and is expected to remain in treatment for a year total.

Vince is self employed in the construction area and his treatment has impaired his ability to work at the same pace, although he continues to push thru to the best of his ability.

4 months later, My 36 year old sister Vanessa, who has never been ill, was unexpectedly diagnosed with Stage 2 breast cancer that has metastasized to the lymph nodes. She has started her treatment plan which if it goes accordingly includes 5 months of chemotherapy,followed by breast removal and ultimately radiation.

With this GoFundMe we are hoping to help this family alleviate a little of their financial burden caused by lost or minimized wages, medical bills, utility bills, and day to day expenses.
