My name is Jen and I’m creating this GoFundMe for my friend Connie.

On Saturday, October 4, 2025, Connie’s husband James was killed in a head-on accident on Hwy 54 north of Carrizozo, NM.

James was a medical courier, and he picked up meds from a pharmacy in Albuquerque and delivered to several facilities from Socorro to Alamogordo and Mescalero, NM. While completing his route, another driver fell asleep, crossed the double yellow line, and drove head-on into James. The police said it happened so quickly that James had no time to react.

James was a very nice guy and an extremely hard worker. He drove his route seven days a week to ensure patients in medical facilities received their meds daily and on time.

James was the main breadwinner and leaves behind a wife, Connie, who is currently in school.
