Widowed Housewife Needs Help To Keep Home!

Hello, my name is Emily, and I am the widowed housewife of a Filmmaker and former Active Combat Marine. I am seeking help for my monthly bills, so I can keep the only home my husband and I ever shared. We moved in here 15 years ago, and shortly after brought home our two adopted fur babies, a boy and a girl.

My husband passed away last May. I have been able to make it through the last year with the resources he left me and the help of my family. I now have $77 to my name. My rent, internet and cell are already overdue, and I am terrified of losing the only home my family has ever known.

When my husband passed away due to complications from chronic alcoholism, I was already suffering from the symptoms of a medical condition I didn't even know I had. Last October 3rd, I finally saw a doctor, who told me all my issues were due to my drinking. I had a long talk with my husband and the higher powers, and I made the choice to live. I haven't had a drink since.

Since October 4th, I have seen multiple doctors. Earlier this year, I was diagnosed with severe axonal sensorimotor polyneuropothy, which affects me from the waist down. The numbness this condition causes is most severe in my feet. I literally can't feel them, except for the chronic pain. In addition, I was diagnosed with Toxic Optic Neuropathy, which has permanently affected my eyesight. I will never see properly again. Once your optic nerve fibers have been damaged, it's permanent.

I just need a little more time to find a job and get this figured out. These new medical conditions mean that I can't do the type of work I am most qualified to do. In addition, the longest job I've ever had was being a housewife.

Since May of last year, I have lost my husband; my lover; and my best friend. I have lost my job. I have received the ashes of our boy baby, who died last April. I have received the ashes of my husband. I have gotten sober, and I have figured out what was wrong with me physically, but I'm out of time.

Please...I just need a little help to get through and find a job. To right the ship. To make my husband proud and keep our home.
