Widowed elderly woman who is at risk of losing her home

I never thought I would have to share this message so soon. As many of you know, my husband Bruce of 54 years passed away at the end of February and adjusting to life without him has been incredibly hard. Bruce and I had built a life together in our home. And without Bruce and down one income, im going to need help from my friends, donations, and suggestions for a short period of time so I am able to live on my own, pay the bills for the house. Once I am able to achieve that I will be able to keep the home where I spent my whole life with my husband.

The stress of this situation has been overwhelming. I’ve tried everything I know how to do, but at this stage in life, my resources are limited. Asking for help isn’t easy, but right now, it’s my only option to be able to pay the bills .

Bruce was diagnosed with early onset Dementia a little over a year ago, we did not realize some of the bills were being missed at that point. This is why I'm asking for help for this short period of time to get caught up. Some of those bills are oil for my home, property taxes, water & sewer. 

Any support—whether it’s a donation, a share, or simply a kind thought or prayer—would mean more to me than I can put into words. Every bit of kindness brings me one step closer to saving my home and holding onto the life Bruce and I built together.
