Widow Struggle Continues.

Hello Everyone. It’s now been 6 years since Joe has passed. Each year I pray for the struggle to get better. I really thought this was the year things would turn around, but the universe had other thoughts. I lost my medical insurance in January and had 2 upper respiratory infections within 3 months of each other, the second one turned into pneumonia . I had to pay $500 out of pocket to a clinic for medical care. My medical insurance has now been reinstated. I have applied for a refund of my out of pocket from Medi-Cal, however, that will take around 120 days to view and hopefully approve. I have been on permanent disability since Joe’s passing due to degenerate disc disease and if any of you know about disability, it doesn’t pay all the bills. I had to take a part time job which causes my back more problems at times. Also, some other expenses have come up and I’m struggling again due to having to pay out of pocket costs. I am signed up to attend Camp Widow in July which will help my sanity and give me hope for the future. I have also become a Regional Leader for Widows and Widowers with Soaring Spirits, helping those like me getting through the loss of our loved one. If you can help in any way I would truly appreciate it.
