Well it might be for us... but for one man, his whole life has been turned on its head. Paul Gibbons, a man who has worked all his life, trusted a company who made promises that he thought were going to allow him to retire within a few weeks due to health. This company sent him workers who turned his life upside down, caused damage to his property, and above all else put him in danger with illegal, unsafe electrical work which is a threat to life. This work has been catagorised as EICR C1 Certified, (An example of a C1 code would be damage that leaves live conductors exposed and accessible therefore don't use your electrical system until action has been taken.) The company "Wickes" and its Ombudsman services have denied the state of this mans kitchen, and now due to his fight for his rights he is facing losing his home. He is unable to fund, feed himself, or replace this kitchen and the company are unwilling to refund or replace the whole thing properly and safely. Paul has been publically campagning to bring this company to the public eye to prevent this from occuring to others, as well as fighting for his own rights under The Consumer Rights Act of 2015. There is NO backup for people out there right now to fight these companies who flaunt the consumer rights act via lies, manipulation, ignorance, and loopholes such as "subcontracting" and "dryfit/specialist works" contracting. Paul is only one of thousands of people who have fallen victim to Wickes and other companies, but he is in need of our assistance now. He stood for all Wickes Victims when he campaigned outside of the Basingstoke Wickes store with the Abbot Tank, bringing the war to public notice around the globe. Please Help us to raise funds so Paul does not have to lose his home due to corruption. Please give if you can, and if not then please share so we can reach as far and wide as we can to help him.
