Help WickerCamp fighters get to the Celtic Championships

We are very proud to have some of WickerCamp's young fighters competing internationally and representing the UK as part of the GB Muay Thai Team. To be part of a national team and represent your country is an honour and privilege.

These international events are part of the amateur Muay Thai circuit and are sanctioned by IFMA (International Federation of Muay Thai Associations) https://muaythai.sport

The UKMF (United Kingdom Muaythai Federation) has been working tirelessly for years towards the recognition of Muaythai as an Olympic sport. This means one day these athletes and future athletes will be able to compete on the worlds highest amateur stage.

So far our junior fighters have fought in Poland, Lithuania, Turkey and Ireland and they have brought home Gold, Silver and Bronze medals.... we are very proud of them.

The commitment and dedication of our athletes and the sacrifice of them, their families and the camp enables them to fulfil their dreams of competing on this world stage.

These international events are totally self funded so we rely on sponsorship, the good will of people and businesses and WickerCamp to contribute towards the costs.

We regularly hold fundraising events to help towards the costs of each individual event which can range between £500 to £2000 per athlete.

We are currently raising funds for 4 of our fighters to compete in the Celtic Championships in Ireland from the 6-9th June.

We kindly ask for your continued support and help towards the costs of travelling, transport, accommodation, entry and administration fees. Some costs will be met by the athlete and WickerCamp but with the help of generous individuals and businesses we can make up the short fall.
