WickerCamp have been raising funds for a group of senior and junior fighters to compete in an amateur international competition in October.

Our senior fighters have just returned after winning one silver and three bronze medals in the Polish Open Championships.

Our junior team are ready to go tomorrow to compete in the Junior Polish Open Championships this weekend.

Chilli is one of our instructors and a parent and will be doing a 15.5 mile sponsored walk starting at Lady Bower reservoir on Saturday 1st November (his birthday !!!).

He will be joined by all the fighters and INVITES ANYONE else to take part to help meet our £3,000 target.

The 15.5 mile walk takes you around the reservoir and up Winn Hill then coming down the other side and around the reservoir again. The start and finish point is at the carpark near the cafe at Lady Bower where we can get coffee and cake after.

We will meet at the car park at 7.30am Saturday morning to start at 8am prompt.

All the money raised is helping to fund our fighters to compete in Poland as these events are not supported and are totally self financed.

PLEASE NOTE: The walk is 15.5 miles (approx 6 hours) and is very steep in places so anybody who would like to do a less challenging walk there is a 7 mile route (2 hours) which is mostly flat around the two reservoirs.
