Hi, I’m Hunter Sheppard — a freelance writer and photographer/videographer passionate about capturing moments across Oklahoma’s high school and college sports scene, as well as the ever-growing world of professional softball.
Even during the summer, my work doesn’t slow down. I’ll be heading to Wichita soon to cover an AAU tournament — a bit different from my usual events, but this one’s personal. I made a promise to a player who’s like family to me, and this trip is my way of honoring that promise.
I’ve been renting gear for a while now — including my main Canon R7 body, a Sigma 28mm f/1.4, and a few other essentials — and have been slowly working toward paying them off. At the same time, I rely heavily on rideshare to get around both at home and when traveling, which can get expensive during multi-day events.
This campaign will help with:
