Bring Nala home

Meet our beautiful moggy girl Nala, our beloved 3 year old cat who mysteriously disappeared from Winkfield Row RG42 on the evening of Friday 12th May.

As a family, we have done everything we possibly can to try and get her home. We have posted leaflets through doors 3 times, pinned up multiple posters in surrounding areas to the point we’ve forgotten where they all are, we’ve contacted vets, rescues, the council and delivery companies incase she had been picked up, we’ve had an article printed in the newspaper in a plea to reunite us, we’ve been out day and night for the last 92 days calling for our fur baby in the hopes that she can hear us, we’ve left her litter and cut up clothes in various locations praying she’ll pick up a scent, and to no avail, she is still not home.

Nala joined our family in 2020 at 6 weeks old. She was bought as a gift for my daughters 4th Birthday and soon they became the very best of friends and closest companions, so to say my little girl is heartbroken is an understatement.

The circumstances surrounding Nala’s disappearance remains an absolute mystery. As a very skittish cat, who will run away from people approaching her, it’s hard to believe that someone could’ve taken our baby and kept them for themselves or even tried to sell her on, although this isn’t impossible. She hates being kept indoors, so it would be very difficult to keep her inside. Another possibility is that she had jumped in a vehicle that day, as it was raining and she may have wanted to source some kind of shelter, and being overly curious, has been transported to a location unknown to her.

We haven’t found a body, we’ve had no phone calls from vets etc, and although there have been a handful of potential sightings which we’ve rushed to straight away, the majority of these cats look very similar to Nala but are sadly not her

In a final plea to reunite us with our girl, it was suggested that we start this Go Fund Me page to raise enough money to offer a reward to anyone who can return her back to us safely. Please understand that this is an absolute final resort. We are going through a cost of living crisis and completely understand that people may not feel comfortable to donate, and we definitely don’t expect you to, but we can’t do this alone.

In many cases, there are genuine people out there who would not accept a reward for finding someone’s beloved pet, however there are other people out there as we know that will hold onto a pet until they see a larger reward advertised, so if this is the case, we desperately need donations in order to provide this to that person.

If Nala was to return on her own, donations will be given directly to cat charities such as Cats Protection and Four Paws in order to help other fur babies in need of love and support.

Nala is a small and slim short haired grey mixed breed kitty, with white paws, tummy and chin, and a small white marking between her olive green eyes. She has large ears, like a rabbit! With a slit in the left one, and left the house with a baby pink collar with a bell on which has most likely come off as it was a quick release collar. She is chipped and neutered.

Everyday we pray that we receive that phone call that will give us the reunion we’ve been waiting 3 long months for. We miss her so so much and are determined to find the answers as to what has happened to her. Thank you all in advance for anything you contribute to support us.
