Hello, my name is Seamus, I just want to talk about my friend Leo. We met Leo at the start of our degrees and he had such an impact on everyone. He was in our great group of friends on the course and brought joy and laughter into our uni lives. Leo tragically took his own life last year. Everyone he interacted with love and miss him greatly.
This shocking event which devestated so many people is not uncommon. Over 200 teenagers are lost to suicide every year in the UK. Papyrus UK is a charity dedicated to preventing suicide and promoting positive mental health and emotional well-being in young people. In May this year, once our course ends, we (Me and a group of Friends) will be walking the West Highland Way in Scotland in memory of Leo and aim to finish the 100-mile trek in under 5 days finishing with a climb of Ben Nevis!
Please spare some money in aid of this amazing charity to help prevent these tragic events from occurring to loved ones living in silence.
Rest In Peace Leo we all love and miss you.
