Gina's Medical Fund

I am trying to help my niece, Gina. She is a wife, mother, grandmother and Special Education Teacher. In July of 2015 she was diagnosed with Triple Negative Breast Cancer. The tumor in her right breast was actually three overlapping tumors measuring over 8 cm in total. On her birthday she had her first of eight chemotherapy sessions. She lost her hair after the second treatment and experienced many of the major symptoms but continued to work through the whole time. In January, she had a mastectomy and had tissue expanders put in in the hopes of being able to have a "real" breast again one day. Unfortunately she developed an infection and two days ago had to have an emergency surgery to have the expanders removed. At this point nothing can be done in regards to rebuilding her breast because she needs to have 33 sessions of radiation. This setback will now keep her out of work much longer than expected which is a drain on her familys finances. Six months after the completion of radiation, Gina will again have to undergo a minimum of 2 surgeries to complete the rebuilding of her breast and then more to make the other one 'match'. Throughout this entire ordeal, Gina and her family have been strong and positive and have rarely asked for help. That is why I am setting up this fund for her. She would never ask for herself but she deserves this help. Please help Gina and her family.
