Warren Hills Robotics Team 219 needs your help to compete in the 2015 FIRST Mid-Atlantic Robotics Competition
The goal of the FIRST Robotics is to inspire young people to take an interest in the future of science and technology. FIRST is a mentor-based program designed to build not only STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering and Math) skills, but life capabilities such as self-confidence, collaboration and leadership.
The first week in March, Team 219 made the finals of the Mt. Olive competition. Our score ranked us in the top 10 of the Mid-Atlantic Region, which is the best the team has ever preformed in it's 16 year history. We expect to qualify for the Regional Competition at Lehigh at our next event. In order to compete, we need to raise $5000 by April 4th for the entry fee and expenses.
Over 25 students have worked very hard to design, fabricate, program and test the robot since the kick off on January 3rd. Your support will help provide these students the opportunity to compete against the best teams on the east coast and inspire them to continue in their pursuit of STEM careers.
Thank you in advance for your support.
TEAM 219

Any extra funds raised will be used for the 2016 robot.
