Whose Bathroom is it anyway?
Trans Media Watch is fund-raising for a short film that will highlight just how ludicrous, and damaging for all women, a Bathroom Bill in England and Wales would be, as mooted by Women's and Equalities Minister, Liz Truss.
Stressing the need for all, no matter who, to be able to use facilities with confidence, privacy and safety, the film will be fully inclusive and intersectional. As many participants as possible, including the film makers, will be drawn from the LGBTQIA/BAME communities.
Some funds have already been raised and all is ready to roll once the project has full funding. Any money raised in excess of production costs will go to replenishing funds for the originating organisations and donating to campaigns that support Black Trans Lives
We appreciate these are difficult times, but the threat of discrimination must be challenged whenever it arises and we hope therefore you will be willing to help us here.
