Hello! My name is Katie Baldwin and I am a current junior acting major at Wright State University! I love directing and it has always been a dream of mine to produce a full length show here in our Jubilee Directing Lab. This is a theatre run completely by students for students!! Since I first read the play as a freshman in college, Who's Afraid of Virginia Woolf? has been a dream of mine to direct. Me and some of my classmates who also have a heavy passion for creating will be producing, directing, tech-ing, and performing in this production in the Spring of 2026. The show will be directed by me, Katie Baldwin, assistant directed/stage managed by William Schneider, and intimacy directed by Eli Reese Peel. We would love your support in order to make this happen!
Who's Afraid of Virginia Woolf? is a play by Edward Albee about a destructive, alcohol-fueled night between a middle-aged couple, George (Owen Purcell) and Martha (Emily Wilson), and a younger couple, Nick (Henry Coyner) and Honey (Madysen Ashley). After a faculty party, Martha invites Nick and Honey over for a nightcap, leading to a series of vicious verbal games, humiliations, and confrontations that expose the harsh truths and illusions of both couples' lives.
