Sadly there have been recent reports of a serial cat killer in the Southwest and Henderson area. Meet Tucker. It is likely that Tucker is a survivor of those recent reporting’s. This little guy was rescued by my neighbor on Friday 3/04 from a wet gutter in Henderson. His right leg had been freshly amputated. I met him that evening after work and fell in love instantly. Without hesitation I immediately let my neighbor know that if she decided against keeping him (she has 2 big dogs) that I would love to take him in. He has been with me and my son since Saturday. On Monday Tucker and I took a trip to the vet. He is on pain meds and an antibiotic. Unfortunately, Tucker has puss pockets forming on his limb. Because of this, the remainder of his limb needs to be amputated before the infection travels upward. The cost associated with this is not something I was prepared to take on. The money I am trying to raise here will cover the procedure to amputate the remainder of Tuckers right front limb as well as any follow-up appointments and medicine associated with the same. Also, the amount for this procedure is at a discounted rate. Thank you for helping me rescue this little guy. He is a little ball of energy. I don’t even think he realizes he is missing a leg.
