Hello, My name is Jean and I live in MD. This is PePe. On October 2, 2025 my 78 yr old brother passed away and PePe was his dog.

My brother got him after his first Maltese of 15yrs passed away. The loss was just unbearable for him. Nonetheless, when he saw this little guy he asked if I would go see him with him. We drove to PA and at the time this little fella was nothing but a white fluffball. Naturally, my brother fell in love with him, but he knew from the start that he had issues. He took him to the vet and they said that he had hydrocephalus and to either take him back or put him down. Not a chance, he was hooked. So now PePe will be 2 yrs old on Jan 24, 2026. I don't even want to imagine how much my brother had spent on him, but the bottom line is nobody wanted him. He's a reject in the eyes of most. I know my brother knew that I would care for him. Since Oct 2, I have had 2 trips to the vets already. Not a cheap pup with vet visits, medication, puppy pads, and special food. Adds up quick. I usually do a Secret Santa every year at my vet so I thought why not start a gofundme. If I don't need it than I'll make sure someone who does benefits.

I am only asking for $ .50 each. Fifty cents isn't much, but hopefully I can get "many fifty cents".

BTW, I'm 68 so I don't know how long I will be here and what would happen to PePe if I weren't. Just think about what $ .50 could do.
