One of my goals for a long time has been to get surgery. It has been for years, but particularly this year. I've been saving what I can, where I can, and I have found myself getting closer to reaching my monetary goal. There's the out of pocket costs, plus the amount for my bills while I will be out of work for at least a month, potentially two (if things don't quite go according to plan) after this surgery. I also have some things on my car I need to fix up sooner rather than later, and that will be coming from what I have saved so far for surgery. 
I'm so close I can taste it, but people who know me know I work at a restaurant/bar. Since reopening during the pandemic, my finances have definitely been affected, and I've decided to ask for some help getting across the finish line. While I'm still trying to save what I can, progress has absolutely slowed, but I'd still like to work with the timeline I currently have set up and get surgery in late August/early September, be able to do some maintenance on my car before it becomes a problem, and be able to know that my bills are paid for during my recovery until I can go back to work.
While I know it's unorthodox to not state what the surgery will be for, it's not something I'm entirely comfortable sharing on a public forum. However, it is absolutely going to be a life changing procedure, and is one that is not only long overdue, but will bring me an unimaginable (for me anyway) amount of peace, self confidence, and that overall will immensely improve my quality of life. 
I am so grateful for anything you'd be willing to contribute to help me reach this goal, on a level I can not express. I'm thankful for even a share to increase my chances of getting somewhere with this. Thank you!
