Hello and thank you. My name is John.
I’m a former stage and film actor with a lifelong dream of making movies.
I have never crowdsourced a project and I’m not a big social media user, so please kindly tolerate my naiveties.
The inspiration for my project comes from a tale told to me by the family of a deceased famous actor. Their uncle portrayed an iconic movie character in one of the greatest films ever made. It’s an intriguing story, one that changed the course of the sequel and robbed the public of the return performance of this icon.
In my original story, taking place 20 yrs after the events of the first film. This beloved character didn’t die as they supposedly did offscreen, after the original film, but faked his death, went into hiding, and when we catch up to him, so has his past.
I’m seeking a production company that will allow me full creative control, so I can bring this unique vision to life.
The script is already complete, and now I ask for your help, to make this film a reality.
The funds raised will go directly toward hiring a local film production company who in my recent contact with, are excited to see this project achieved.
We will assemble a talented cast, secure set people and pieces, vehicles, waredrobe and design to authentically recreate this vivid era I envision which is set in 1969.
We will also acquire any extra rights needed to resurrect this character.
I have the rights to the character’s likeness.
It all comes down to the name.
I feel it is a strong, unique, touching, frightening and funny film and I hope to see it come to life and share it with the world.

Since I was a little boy, movies have been my passion. I still remember sneaking into an old theater at age seven to see my first film—Star Wars—and being life alteringly captivated.
I acted and sang throughout school. Ive performed extensively on stage, professionally and non. I’ve done 1 film, some television and have sung lead in 4 musicals.
In 2016, I had to step away from it all for financial reasons. Since then, there’s been a shadow on my soul.
During my ‘retirement,’ I've been asked to perform off-Broadway and on television, but obstacles always get in the way.
Writing has always been a part of me—from creating superheroes and fantastical stories as a child. Drawing them in my notebooks, on old wooden school desks and even park benches. My imagination had taken me everywhere. Then, accidentally at first, I started acting in other people's stories.
My story currently?
I work, I eat, I sleep and I pay bills, just like all of you taking your time to read this. I just want to make people happy, distact us all from this maze we daily spin in together.
One thing I am and have been, is a storyteller. I have many unique ones to tell: magnificent ones, sad ones, scary ones, mobster ones, funny ones, obscure ones, goofy ones, strange ones, and hopefully someday, ones about other worlds.
