Who is Mark Drum wants to join SAG-AFTRA

As a Filipino immigrant trying to fulfill one of his lifelong goals of being a working actor and joining the acting unions. I recently became eligible to join the Screen Actors Guild - American Federation of Television and Radio Artists (SAG-AFTRA ) and with the initiation fee plus semi-annual dues, it is a big amount to take on. This has been a multi-year journey for me and the hard work is paying off. 


For those who don’t know me, my name is Mark Drum, a graduate from the University of Northern Colorado with a BA in Theatre Arts, I serve as a volunteer leader for a non-profit organization, teaching artist and fellow actor. I am seeking help in paying for my initiation fee and semi-annual dues for SAG-AFTRA. My birthday also happens to be later this week and this month is AAPI Heritage month, so I hope you will consider supporting me as well as supporting an Asian American Actor with their dream. 

If you’re unable to support monetarily, my ask is if you can share this with anyone who can help support me in my cause. I have always been a person to help when I can and if I couldn’t I would try to find a way to help. The goal is to have this fundraiser done before June 1st to commemorate AAPI Heritage & Mental Health Awareness Month and my birthday. If I surpass my goal I will be grateful, where any extra funds will go towards my student loan debt and investment into my acting career (headshots, training, travel, housing, food, etc).
