Hello, my name is Alena (friend of Saranne), and I am writing this with the permission of the Whitworth Family.

On the 9th of January, their family experienced an unimaginable loss when their home was destroyed in the Natimuk fires. In a matter of moments, everything they had built and called home was gone. While we are incredibly grateful that Saranne, Rawley, Aayla and their 2 dogs are safe, they are now facing the heartbreaking reality of starting again from nothing.

The fire took not only their house but their sense of security, treasured belongings, memories, and the place where their family felt safe. Like so many families affected by bushfires, the road ahead will be long and overwhelming, with immediate needs such as clothing, essentials, temporary accommodation, and eventually rebuilding a home.

This GoFundMe has been created to help ease some of that burden and to show Saranne, Rawley, and Aayla that they are not alone during this incredibly difficult time. Any donation, no matter how small, will help provide practical support and give them space to focus on healing and moving forward.
