I wanted to share a story with the community about an amazing journey I and my Whittier neighbors have come together for in these last couple of weeks. If any of you have visited drove or walked between Colima road and Mills Ave you have probably see her. Her name is Judith a 75 year old homeless lady in a wheelchair. Lately she has been sitting in her wheelchair at the corner bus stop on Whittier Blvd and Mills Ave unable to move due to the condition of her wheelchair . She is The sweetest humans I have met. Don’t get me wrong she is tough set in her own ways will not give you too much insight into her life but once she does it’s a reminder to us how not to take anything for granted . As Judith says “One day you may live in the hills and the next you will be on the streets alone and with nothing .” It’s heart breaking she is homeless at 75 years young , suffering from various medical conditions condition and just recently having her leg amputated due to gangrene due to lack of proper care. Simple essentials that we might take for granted. I ask you all to please help Judith with any amount you may be able to donate to keep her off the streets especially now with this life changing event of her amputation . I on behalf of the Whittier community thank you for reading , reposting and donating to #Whittier4JudithsWheelchair&Beyond
