Hi, my name is Whitney Vinton and I am in scout troop 444G in Richardson. I am working on attaining the rank of Eagle Scout. I am fundraising for my Eagle project, which will be to build new studio sets for the Magnet Communications program which I am enrolled in at Richardson High School. Twice a week, we do a live broadcast about new school or community events and upcoming sporting events, plays, and other activities. The existing sets behind the news anchors are old, outdated and unserviceable. For my eagle project, I am building the new broadcast sets to sit behind the news and sports anchors. They will be made of plexiglass, aluminum, and wood so they can be used by RHS students for years to come!
