Whitney's Big Break: Summer Program

My kiddo, Whitney, has spent almost every week of the last 2 years working on a show - either on or offstage. Theatre is her life! This summer, she has been accepted to the Rider University Pre-College Musical, Theatre, and Film summer program!

During her two weeks at their Lawrenceville, NJ campus, Whitney will receive both group and private lessons in singing, acting, and dancing from the university’s faculty along with master classes with invited artists. In addition, she will receive coaching on auditions and how to prepare for college applications and interviews. She also gets to live in the dorms to round out her taste of college life.

If she completes the program and decides to study at Rider for her undergraduate studies, she will receive a $2,000 a year, renewable scholarship.

Many of you have asked over the years if I have needed help and I usually say no, but I could use your help in getting Whitney to this program. The tuition is $3,400 plus she will need a few things for her dorm and we will have travel back and forth. If this fundraiser happens to go over the $3,400, I would use that money to fund more voice, acting, and dance lessons once she returns home.
