Help Whitney see the Gorillas!

Hello friends of Whitney, far and wide!

As we all well know, Whitney is a kind, compassionate, selfless, sensitive soul with a heart as big as the African Savannah. As just one small example of her kindness, recently she has taken my family in during a tough transitional time. Without hesitation, she’s given us a place to live and joyfully assumed the role of Auntie, helping me with daily routines and child care. I don’t know where I would be right now if it weren’t for her generous spirit and selfless giving of her time, talents, energy, and even financial support.

Our dear Whitney has a beautiful dream. She is a lover of all things in nature, animals, and exploring Mother Earth in all her beauty. She has been longing to visit Africa to trek jungles and see the Gorillas in person, but as you can imagine this costs a pretty penny! I’d like to ask you, her family and friends, to join me in making this dream a reality. All funds raised will help pay Whitney’s travel costs to Africa including accommodations and a week long guided trek into the jungle. If for any reason we’re unable to meet our goal, the funds will be given to Whitney to put into a savings account to build towards her dream trip, or paid to a Gorilla rescue charity of Whitney’s choice.

Whitney has given so much of herself to all of us. It is my heart’s deepest wish to gift this trip to her, but I can’t do it on my own. Please consider contributing what you can, in any amount big or small, because little by little, a little becomes a lot! Her birthday is on December 28, and I would like very much to surprise her with this gift before the end of the month.
