Hi! My name Whitney Ervin and I am 34 years old. I am a Foley/Magnolia Springs, Alabama native, and I went to Gulf Shores High School, class of 2008. My father passed away 8 years ago, leaving me with only my son, my sister, and my mom left as family. ❤️

My job as General Manager for Sonic Drive-In requires me to be on my feet for 10-15 hours at a time, with no breaks, 50+hours a week.

About 7 years ago, my knee was severely injured from a violent attack from my ex-fiance. Since then I've had constant issues with it…about 2 months ago, I was rushed to the local emergency room from excruciating pain, after hearing a loud "Popping" sound and I fell to the ground when my knee gave out. They sent me home in an immobilization splint with crutches. Within the month, I was sent to have an M.R.I. by my orthopedic surgeon, and Dr. Terral informed me that I had a torn A.C.L. (a long term injury due to the attack from my ex-fiance, years ago) He also told me that my meniscus was severely torn, and he then started talking about a treatment plan. He scheduled a 'right knee videoarthroscopy surgery' for Tuesday, May 20th, 2025.

My insurance, was just pre-authorized as of yesterday, May 14, 2025.

This morning I received an email stating that my health insurance, United Healthcare, covered all of the expenses, except for a $1,801.00 deductible. By a miracle, The Daphne Surgery Center has agreed to let me pay half for the surgery at this moment, but it is due the day of (May 20th) when I check into the surgery center.

Long story cut short, I need to come up with $900 in the next 4 days, and I don’t get paid until next Friday. I am asking for help from the community to please help in any way you can, no matter how small, and I CAN and WILL pay back every cent. I desperately need this surgery. I don’t know what else I can do except ask for help from this amazing community that I've been a part of my entire life.
