Hi! We ganged up to help our friend because, though she will never ask anyone for help, this amazing human needs a workshop!

Whitney over at Smoking Glue Guns has become an absolute ICON in the dice-making community and is one of the most genuinely kind humans I’ve ever had the pleasure to come across. But did you know her self employed journey started thanks to the Pandemic?

Whitney worked in Theatre and when Covid shut effectively down that entire profession, Whitney adapted in the most amazing fashion. She turned a tough situation into this amazing Glue Guns Community and now she needs a little bit of help.

She has been looking for a house for quite some time, but thanks to the explosion in the housing market, it’s not a viable option and won’t be for a while. In the meantime, she has been living with her parents and she does all her resin casting and soap making in the bedroom she sleeps in. For her safety and sanity, the time has come for Whitney to get a workshop.

She is looking to purchase a wooden shed to build on the property. The low end for 8x10 sheds likes this start around $3000 fully installed, but she will also need electricity at the bare minimum. Whitney would prefer to use sustainable resources, so her goal is to make the shed fully solar. She will also need dry wall, shelving, and some equipment upgrades to be fully operational.

Whitney is such an incredibly independent human, and because of that she doesn’t like to ask people for anything….but we love asking people for help! The fact of the matter is, she needs to stay safe in order to be able to continue creating the amazing things she makes.
