We here at Whitetip Marine Adventures- FIJI, have over the last eight years been very fortunate to have created a wonderful scuba dive operation here at Port Denarau Fiji.
Excited to be Trip Advisor's #1 of 28 trips from Port Denarau.
And, even more fortunate to have had the privilege of taking thousands of divers from all over the World out to experience and enjoy the beauty of our awesome underwater backyard around the Mamanuca Islands.
Sadly, due to the borders of Fiji having been closed since late March 2020, nine of our dive team have been out of work since beginning of April as sales have dropped by 96%.
OUR DREAM is to help the company survive through until the borders re-open and we can have you all come back to Fiji and once again (or for the first time) get out and dive our backyard with our fantastic Whitetip Marine Adventures dive team.
To survive - we need to be able to maintain our physical company presence at the marina complex, and now after nine months we have exhausted company reserves - and even Andrew the old Whitetip fella has exhausted his personal reserves and we need help.
We need to pay our rent - and that's where we would love the support and assistance from you our much loved Whitetip diving family members.
Our rent for office, workshop, terminal booth and dive boat (Getaway) marina berth totals FJ$2,750 each month and that is all we are looking to cover in order to be a border closure survivor.
We are very lucky to live in Fiji where there is a small population and always ample food available and kind generous people everywhere happy to share what they have with others - a truly remarkable country in which the dive team can survive quite ok without working.
We talk about you all being part of our Whitetip family - and you are. We aren't asking for a one way kind of assistance, as families always share.
Therefore, any assistance sent our way will have the same value held as a credit for when you finally get to Fiji and come dive again. Yes, we will provide you with a very grateful 'Thankyou' credit for your next dives here with us in Fiji.
Please everyone stay safe, stay healthy and we all will be here to welcome you back home to Fiji when this 'Thing' has become history and our borders re-open and life can be a beautiful rewarding experience, for us all.
