This is the official fundraising page of Shelley White and Emma Baillie aspiring athletes in the Olympic Women's 470 Sailing Class (AUS 7).
We look forward to competing and training both domestically and internationally in the coming years, with a goal set towards the Tokyo 2020 Olympics.
Sailing is an expensive sport; the costs of equipment, travel, accommodation and regatta entry can often pose as a barrier to our goal. However, with your generous support we hope to compete in our 2nd international campaign. This will include Kiel Week in Germany, which will draw over 3 million visitors and competitors, and the 470 ISAF World Championships in Aarhus, Denmark. This year we hope to do a second international trip to Japan which will include the Sailing World cup & Enoshima Olympic Week.
It is an exciting time for both of us and we hope to share our journey with you: our friends, family and supporters. We believe that we can add value to businesses, brands and community groups and would love to hear how we can contribute to our major supporters. We hope that your generous donations may help us get to our first major regattas and establish a base for future success.
