White Plains Family of 5 Homeless after fire
Donation protected
On Saturday February 26, 2022, the house next door to my parent’s burned down. Alfredo and Erica lived in a small 3rd floor apartment in the house, with their 3 young boys aged 6, 8, and 9. They had barely enough time to get out and were left with NOTHING!! They have NO family and NO friends to stay with and were literally out in the cold for hours while the firefighters put out the fire trying to figure out where to go and what to do. My mom and dad brought them inside to warm them up and found out their story. They were working paycheck to paycheck. Alfredo is a construction painter in NYC and works everyday. Erica stays home and takes care of the children ages 6, 8 and 9. The boys attend elementary school in White Plains. The family is staying at my parents house temporarily because they have no where to go. Please help us to help them find a new apartment and replace some of their belongings- everything was lost.
Anything you can contribute will go directly to secure a place to live for this family.
