LOGLINE
A man drifts through fractured worlds, chased by a glowing-eyed silence and a countdown he cannot stop. Each reality fraying beneath the weight of a memory that won’t speak its name.
OVERVIEW
Carl wakes up in a darkened room, an alarm clock that won’t stop counting down beside him. Through the doorway of this room, he sees memories, memories he cannot control, memories he cannot speak to. All while The Shadow watches from the wings, never uttering a single word, but always looming over Carl, as a feeling, as a manifestation of emotions that he would rather have stayed buried, but The Shadow will soon reveal them.
Relentlessly punishing him as he tries to piece together this psychological puzzle of abuse, guilt and regret.
As he is snatched, pulled and pushed into many different times long gone. A birthday party, a dinner party, a homely kitchen, a hospital stay. Are these memories even his? Will he escape from this labyrinth? And what will happen when the countdown reaches zero?
The story is largely a psychological horror, with themes of grief, loss and guilt, and elements of cosmic horror and body horror thrown in.
