Help White Coppice Cricket Club raise £150k in 150th year

Donation protected
2025 marks the 150th anniversary of picturesque White Coppice Cricket Club - and we're launching a campaign to raise £150k to secure our future.
The club was founded in 1875 by local cotton mill owner Ephraim Eccles for his workers and is a popular venue for passing walkers and photographers.
The ground was even the setting for the 1994 TV show Sloggers, which launched the TV career of actor Ralph Little.
The club's reputation as 'the club that wouldn't die' was tested to the full in 2017 when we lost every game after taking to the field with 7, 8 or 9 players.
When we beat Vernon Carus on June 16th, 2018 after 28 straight defeats it was our first win in 658 days!!!
The club now has enough players to field two Saturday teams - but has been hit with a £29k bill to fix a septic tank.
The players have launched a fundraising campaign - not just to fix the septic tank but to pay for much-needed training facilities and improvements to the ground.
