Hello! We are the Anguilla Summer 2018 class of Saint James School of Medicine!
Medical school is tough, but this is what we signed up for! Each of us has chosen this path, and we’re looking forward to decades of helping the communities around us.
The past two years have been grueling. We have each faced challenges, and not just in the classroom. Together, we grappled with the effects of a devastating hurricane. Many of us went to another island 300 miles away for a hurried semester. We missed Christmases, Thanksgivings, birthdays and more, all to chase a shared dream.
To commemorate our time at Saint James School of Medicine and the challenges, adventures, and academics we surmounted in Basic Sciences, we are celebrating our White Coat Ceremony on August 25th, 2018.
This is completely a student-funded event. We have raised money through fundraisers and auctions, but we need your help: we ask you to donate any amount to our fund! All donations will go towards ensuring all our friends and family attending our White Coat ceremony have a memorable time!
