Hello! We are a group of students seeking financial support for our upcoming 16mm short film for our Swinburne University Film and Television project. We are a driven group of creatives who are extremely passionate about filmmaking, and are excited to see the director's vision come to life on the screen.

Synopsis:

Facing endless harassment from his ill-tempered boss, spineless Wylie is greeted by a mysterious cowboy who offers him an escape from reality to face his fears, and rediscover his identity through an adventure in the wild west...

With a large-scale production comes even larger price tags... 'Whisper from the West ' is no different, and we are going all in! We would appreciate any donations towards the production of this film. Through your generous contributions, we can ensure the best possible version of this film will be created.

Where will the funding go?

With filming commencing soon, our main focus is to direct funds towards purchasing the film stock and pay for processing; however, donations will also help assist with crew catering, transportation, props, costumes and location fees. We're treating the production with a no regret mentality, going all out when it comes to finding the right locations and actors to create the best final product possible.

How will we make our money back?

Put simply, we won't... Being this is a student film, every expense will come from our pockets. Any and all money made through the GoFundMe and our upcoming fundraiser will be contributed to the film. So, whether you donate $10, $1, or any amount, every contribution is generous in our eyes and will help bring 'Whisper from the West' to life!

Furthermore, we would love to show our appreciation to anyone who donates by having their name featured in a 'Special Thanks' section of the final credits.

How can I help if I can't fund?

Spreading the news about our film by word of mouth, encouraging donations, or advertising on your socials, will all go a long way to helping us raise awareness.
