We are so grateful that so many of our friends and customers have reached out to ask how they can help the Whisky A Go Go Family of security, barbacks, bartenders, light design engineers, sound engineers and booking staff. As a direct result of COVID-19, the majority of our working family has been laid off for almost two months - and until further notice as per our Governor's efforts to stop the spread of the pandemic. With the vast majority of our staff unable to find work elsewhere and the unemployment system still woefully backed up we have created this Go Fund Me to help buffer the financial hardships our staff is experiencing during these trying times. For those who have enjoyed our concerts, drinks, food, and camaraderie at The Whisky, we ask you to consider making a donation to the Whisky A Go Go Employee Relief Fund to support all these amazing people who have kept the drinks flowing, the music bumping, and the good times coming in a clean and safe second home for you all these years. Please bear in mind while waiting for government assistance many of our staff have been racking up debt and bills and often have elders, kids and furbabies to support as well as themselves. Any help that you can provide us, no matter the amount, will be graciously accepted. We understand that times are tough; if you've been hit hard too we get it - a share of our fundraiser on your Facebook or other social media also means the world to us. We appreciate all of you so much and cannot wait to reopen The Whisky A Go Go doors again to you, our extended family!
