Whiskey is one of those dogs that you just meet and fall in love.  Whether you have met him through Neena, or on a plane when he flies with Neena (being a traveling nurse), or from his Famous IG (https://www.instagram.com/whereintheworldiswhiskey/) , you can tell he is special ! 

I use to work with Neena in Joe Dimaggio PICU and we have stayed friends since.  Whiskey is Neena's 'child' and as PICU nurses, we would do ANYTHING for someones child, so Neena now needs OUR help for HER CHILD.  

On Sunday, Neena woke up to Whiskey not being able to move his back legs. He was paralyzed. She rushed him to the Vets office and he went in for an emergency Laminectomy. He had 2 herniated Discs. They are praying that he makes a recovery but he still cannot walk. He will need therapy (which if you know - is VERY expensive for dogs).

She  paid for all the surgery ( well over $10,000) and she is now facing the burden of therapy for Whiskey.  She has been researching how to do her own excercises and therapy at home but we all know this can only push him so far. She needs help to get back on her feet and to hopefully get him into professional therapy which is estimated around $250 per 30 minutes.

Lets all please come together and HELP Neena, like she has helped so many of us and our children.  

** Neena did not want to ask for help, but I explained to her that what she did with giving him another chance and getting the surgery - she is Whiskeys Hero. Lets all help her make Whiskey the energetic dog he was <3
