Thank you so much for your interest in contributing to Whim 'n Rhythm's newest studio album, brought to you by Whim 'n Rhythm Class of 2018!
Founded in 1981, Whim 'n Rhythm is Yale's senior women's a cappella group. The 14 singers in Whim, who come from a cappella, instrumental and musical theater backgrounds, represent the best female musicians of the senior class. Over the last 36 years, the group's presence has continued to grow on both a national and an international stage. This year, Whim '18 has so far had the pleasure of singing for two former U.S. Secretaries of State, Hillary Clinton JD '73 and John Kerry '66. As per tradition, the group will embark on a two-month world tour after graduation, traveling to countries including Japan, Australia, New Zealand, South Africa, and Italy.
We are so excited to be recording a studio album this spring, which will feature new and never-before-recorded songs in our repertoire. This is a big undertaking, and we are extremely grateful for any contribution you're willing to make to help us cover the costs!
Please feel free to visit our website to check out some of our past recordings, as well as more information about our group and what we do. Check us out on youtube to see previous live performances, and follow us on Facebook and Instagram!
Much love and gratitude,
Whim 'n Rhythm '18
