Support Adrianna Chaisson Through Her Medical Journey

Donation protected
Sweet Adrianna, twelve year old daughter of Steven and Lindsey Chaisson, has been battling ITP (Immune Thromboyctopenic Purpura), a rare autoimmune disorder where the body attacks its own platelets causing complications with bleeding. On March 21, 2024, Lindsey brought Adrianna to Texas Children's in Houston due to severe stomach pain. Upon arrival, it was discovered that she had an obstruction in her colon. While being treated for the obstruction, her labs showed that her kidney function was rapidly declining. Adrianna underwent a kidney biopsy, scans, and tons of blood work which showed that she also has a new diagnosis of APS (Antiphospholipid Syndrome), another rare disorder that causes the body to attack its own tissue and causes abnormal clotting. This new diagnosis is what is responsible for the damage to her kidneys. While awaiting further treatment for the APS, she is having to go through dialysis in order to remove toxins from her body. She has now been in the hospital for 16 days battling both ITP and APS. The doctors and medical team are having to find a balance between both keeping her from bleeding out and keeping her body from producing new blood clots. Currently, the blood clots are in both arms, both kidneys, and one leg. Due to both of these conditions, she is in the ICU where the team is able to closely monitor her condition as she sees multiple specialists. This is not the complete story- much has happened over the last couple of weeks and many complications. Please consider donating to Steven and Lindsey as they fight on their knees for their daughter. They have not left her bedside and need all of the support that our community can provide. Please pray for Adrianna, the medical team, her parents, and her twin brothers. This is a hard season in their lives but we know that God is able to heal and restore her body to completeness.

"With man it is impossible, but not with God. For all things are possible with God." Mark 10:27

We will be updating this page throughout her journey. Thank you for the support and prayers. **ALL donations will go directly to Steven and Lindsey**
