Help a Vet Avoid Foreclosure

I'm in need of help to try and save my parents home that they have lived in since 1960. They have 30 days to make payment in full, to Huntington Bank, or they are going to take their home, and leave them with no place to go .
My dad, an Air Force Veteran who has served in Korea, has advanced Alzheimers and doesn't know either me, or my mom anymore. My mom is blind with Macular Degeneration, and has survived three heart attacks, and is in very frail condition .
Here's a little information about how this happened. After my parents retired, they were living on my dad's fixed income of his 401k, savings, and their social security. And it was enough to last them for the rest of their lives.
But then my dad started slipping mentally from the Alzheimers, and he was conned by a family member and his long time family friend, out of all of their savings and my dad's 401k,and then he was talked into refinancing the house. His house was already paid for. He had no need to refinance it. But because my dad no longer had the mental capacity to process this, he believed what was being told to him, and he refinanced. Unfortunately, as the disease progressed, my dad became forgetful more and more everyday, and he stopped making payments on the refinance loan .
I didn't find any of this out until the damage was done. It has left them with nothing to live on but Social Security, which is not enough for any senior to live on .
I've been trying to help them the best I can, but since I am their sole care giver, it has taken away my ability to work outside the home, and bring in additional income. And since they don't have any savings anymore, I can't put my dad in a nursing home facility. The reason I can't put him a facility is because Medicaide won't pay for it. They would have to lose their home, or sell it (which is exactly what I'm trying to avoid) before Medicaide would take over.
I've been struggling with this for some time, trying to save their house, but Huntington Bank won't budge. I've tried to make arrangements with them, but they are not willing to make that arrangment with me. They tell me I have to pay the loan off "in full." Seems they would rather take my parents and put them out on the streets.
Please understand that I have exhausted all of my options, and at this point I am in panic mode, trying to keep two very frail seniors from being tossed out. I have always been the type to help others when in need, and very rarely ask for any kind of help for myself.
I just don't know what to do anymore . A friend of mine had told me about "Go Fund Me." I had never heard of it before. He described it as a website that could be used to explain my situation, and through the help of kind and caring people, and their donations, I could possibly help my parents save their home. What an amazing opportunity!
I would like to express my thanks and gratitude for taking the time to read my parent's story. I am hoping to find the help I need to get them out of this situation. As I said earlier, asking for help is proving to be very difficult for me, but I just can't have them thrown out .
Again Thank You !!
