Hi we are Scottish Karting Academy looking for any support at all will be grately recevied. The team behind the Scottish Karting Academy — a community-led programme using karting to build skills, confidence, community and real-life opportunities for young people and families across Scotland.

We’re raising funds to remove the financial barriers that stop so many young people from accessing motorsport and the wider skills that come with it. Karting is more than racing — it sparks interest, teaches discipline, teamwork, engineering skills, resilience and work ethic, while bringing families and communities together in a positive, supportive environment. For many young people, this is their first step into something they feel proud of and motivated by.

This matters to us because we see first-hand how the right opportunity, at the right time, can change a young person’s direction in life. Not everyone learns best in a classroom, but everyone deserves a chance to build skills, confidence and a future.

Funds raised will be used to:

Provide access to karts, safety equipment and race entry costs

Support mechanical and engineering skills workshops

Cover transport, fuel and logistics to events

Reduce costs for families and ensure no young person is excluded due to money

Reinvest directly back into the academy, keeping it community-focused and not-for-profit

Every contribution helps us build skills for life, stronger communities, and real opportunities — on and off the track.

This is an alternative provision and community-led project designed to engage individuals who may not be interested in traditional sports. Our goal is to provide meaningful community activities that ensure everyone feels excited and included.
