In the remote hills and villages of Bangladesh, many children from underserved ethnic minority communities face challenges that make continuing their education incredibly difficult.

It's not a lack of talent, determination, or ambition that holds them back. Often, the opportunities simply aren't within their reach.

Schools offering higher levels of education may be hours away from home, and for many families, the cost of relocating, finding safe accommodation, and covering everyday educational expenses is simply unaffordable. As a result, children with so much potential are sometimes forced to put their dreams on hold.

At OHARU, we believe that no child's future should be limited by where they were born.

We work alongside families, teachers, and local communities to help children access better educational opportunities beyond their villages. This includes supporting children who need to relocate closer to suitable schools, helping them secure safe and appropriate accommodation, and providing the educational resources, mentorship, and encouragement they need to continue learning.

Our support goes beyond books and classrooms. We want every child to feel safe, supported, and confident enough to pursue their dreams, even when that means taking their first steps away from home.
