'When We're Older' - Short Film

Hello! Myself (Freya) and my partner (Jake) set up a film production company recently with the aim to produce thought provoking films that tackle real life issues.

Our most recent film, Note to Self, was a joy to make and gained us some festival success including an honourable mention at RS Film Fest and quarter finalist at the Sussex international film festival. This film touched on mental health and abuse represented through a pianist battling the awful memories of her Father.

Our next film, When We're Older, is about a woman consumed by her drug addiction. In our story we delve into her past to the day that started it all - her mother's funeral. With this film, we hope to raise awareness for the truth behind addiction as a mental health issue, and one that often stems from childhood trauma.

Our funding will go towards kit, props, costume, and other production costs so any amount will help! Money will also go towards festival funding, which will give the chance for our project and its delicately important message to be seen by as wide an audience as possible. A little can really go a long way!
