My nephew Christian, his dad Olin, his grandma Elizabeth, and their loyal dog Kita recently went through something no family should ever have to face — they lost their home in a devastating fire.
In the middle of the night, it was Kita who woke them up and saved their lives. While we’re so grateful they made it out safely, the heartbreaking truth is that nothing from their home could be saved.
Christian is still in school and lost so many things that mattered deeply to him — his school clothes, supplies, trumpet, winter gear, and countless personal belongings. Starting over from nothing is never easy, and right now they are facing an incredibly difficult road ahead.
We’re reaching out to ask for support during this tough time. If you’re able to donate, no matter the amount, it would mean the world to our family. And if you can’t, we completely understand — simply sharing this message helps more than you know.
From the bottom of our hearts, thank you for keeping Christian, Olin, Elizabeth, and Kita in your thoughts, and for showing them kindness as they begin to rebuild their lives.
