When it rains…sometimes it floods!

I am Fauntelle (Faun) Wolf. I’m a single Grandmother. It’s very hard to ask for help, but I am finding it necessary right now to do just that.

A lot of you know that my youngest child and only daughter was in a very bad car accident in 2001. She lived with me until she died in November 2021. I am now raising her children. Her daughter Joey is 14, and her son Bobby is 6. We have been together and living on my social security.

Recently though, we have been experiencing some unforeseen financial challenges. Then came the flood… Saturday I took a friend to the hospital ER. While waiting in the ER someone decided that they wanted the catalytic converter from my 2005 Prius. The worst thing is that the car is not worth the price to replace it. It has 269000 miles on it , the air conditioner is not working and the very expensive battery is on its last leg. I get a big red triangle with an exclamation mark in the center, that lights up more and more frequently. Estimated cost to fix the car is 4 x’s the value of the car.

The best option for us is to replace the vehicle! Any help that our little family receives will be deeply appreciated!
