My friend, Jess, and her family (6 people in total) were displaced from their home last night by a house fire. The family consists of Dad, Mom, and 4 kids ranging from age 13 to a 1-year-old.

They safely left the house with the clothes on their back. Thankfully, a fireman went back into the home and grabbed some sandals for them to wear.

I have been contacted by many people throughout the day to help them. At this time, the best way to help is to donate money so the family can go purchase items that are needed to get the kids to school this week. They do have insurance on their home and for items inside, but this will take time before they have access to these funds.
