Joana da Veiga (my aunt) left Cape Verde 17 days ago to visit her daughters and seek health in the country she called land of miracles. Upon arrival in the USA, she suffered 3 consecutive strokes and other complications eroded. On 9/22/2017, our Heavenly Father called her to His side.
Tia Mimi, as we called her, was such a strong minded and positive woman who spread joy and laughter wherever she went. Her life motto was "Life is just like music, you move according to the rythm". Tia Mimi loved to dance, loved her family, was a helping hand to anyone who needed. In this moment of pain we ask for support on this unexpected burden. This fund is to help take her back home to Cape Verde.
